I am not able to find any information online related to this event. I downloaded a set of new patches ncluding BIOS driver from Lenovo, still the same problem is ocurring. No change whatsoever as I am still receiving the same Event ID. This event warning has been appearing since day one of owning my notebook. I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Intel chipset drivers and Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

I’m a little nervous about disabling my machine while I am at it As the notebook is brand new, you can also contact the computer manufacturer for further assistance or for a replacement. In any event, despite the updating the management Engine Firmware and SOL driver, the error lmx.
Did this solve your problem? I have the same question Pardon my ignorance, but can I go into device manager, try uninstalling the “Intel R Management Engine Interface” and then re-installing it from there?

In reply to Afzal Taher’s post on May 28, Afzal Taher Replied on May 28, In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update, and then double-click the device name. I would conbect you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Intel chipset drivers and Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Apparently both Dell and HP have issued hotfixes for this problem, I’m still looking for Lenovo to do something as well.
